• Serving refugee youth through media arts

Sound Of Color: is a documentary film we started in 2018, with the hope to provide Syrian refugee youth in the San Diego area a safe space to share their journey and promote their well-being. (more info click here)

Arts Camp:  with the help of faith groups and individuals, we hold annual arts camps with the goal to help Syrian children and youth process their journeys and rebuild hope and healthy lives here in America.

More refugees are arriving, so we welcome volunteers and financial support to meet the needs.

There are two ways to help through Hummingbird: 1) Giving your time to help at our Arts
Camp and other events and 2) Giving financially to support the Arts Camps, events and/or
the completion of the Sound of Color documentary film.

Any 501(c)3 non-profit who serves the overwhelming needs in the community and lacks video media support. Our selection committee will review the inquiry and vision and mission statement to make the final decision.
